Nimar Abhyudaya Rural Management And Development Association (N.A.R.M.A.D.A.) is a spiritually oriented service mission. It was founded in October 2010 by Bharati Thakur after she completed Narmada Parikrama. It runs free pre-school to high school level educational centres at Lepa Punarvas (Bairagarh), Bhattyan and Chhoti Khargone specially for the children of economically weaker section of the society in the Khargone District of Nimar Region of Madhya Pradesh.
Set up on the banks of river Narmada by a group of dedicated people to extend helping hand to the deprived villagers in the Nimar Region of Madhya Pradesh. Focuses on providing free non-formal education programs covering 15 villages.
The education programs adopt an innovative approach of training and empowering local village women as educators. Additional initiatives are planned in the areas of vocational training, health and environmental awareness initiatives to provide a holistic approach towards ensuring the future well-being of children and help people to earn their livelihood.
The association draws from the rich experience of the dedicated individuals associated with. They have volunteered to contribute to the integrated development of the region.
On 23 January 2012 Sant Rajgiri baba donated his Ashram (5400 sq. ft.) at Lepa Punarvas, Tehsil - Kasrawad, District - Khargone, Madhya Pradesh for the educational activities of NARMADALAYA
The building is presently used for Hostel catering need of 60 tribal children from Alirajpur, Barwani and Khargone Districts. Electricity for the entire building is generated through solar panels and connected to Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board grid.
Construction of Pre-primary section of Ramkrishna Sarda Niketan with the help of few individual donors in memory of Late Dr. Jagannath Wani, Shri Shridhar Jivanrao Gothe, Brahmachaitanya Shri Gondavalekar Maharaj, Late Shri Madhusudan Welankar, Swami Ranganathananda ji Maharaj.
With the financial support of LIC of India and few individual donors the ground floor of the school building of Ramkrishna Sarda Niketan was constructed in 2017- 18. In the year 2019- 20, General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) contributed for the first and second floor of this building.
